**********UPDATE with pics************ Hi, need help in this. Some guy is selling me 5 ENKEI RPF1 in mate black like new with used Falken Azenis rt-615 tires under ..... $1000.. I know it's imposible but he's just tired of having the rims in the garage. The rims are like new, good condition. It's a sweet deal. The thing is that the wheels are 18x8.5 wide, thats ok but the offset is 30. I know some people that use 38 and 36 offset in their lancers. Why you guys think about that? it will fit on my car? I lowered my car with TEINS. If i have to roll the fenders it's ok . But i want to know if that offset is too much for my Lancer GTS. The guy is like 2 hours of where i live, it's difficult to try the wheels on my car. I search the internet and found a page that gives you info comparing tha sotck tire and wheel with the new wheel you are installing. http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp Here's the comparasion info. Stock tire and wheel is 215/45 18x7 46 offset. New tire and wheel is 235/40 18x8.5 30 offset. Suspension 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM) Fenders Package will stick out 26 mm (1'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset. Wheelwells 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM) Wath do you think guys , I don't have much time to decide. He's selling the black one in this pic.
If you are lowered you will rub. There's a guy on EvoM that has them in+35 stock height I believe and he tells me he rubs a little.
Go with em, there's a guy on evom that's running Advans 18x8.5 30+, not sure what size tire he's running though, I wanna say 235/40. Even if you get them and they don't fit 5 like new rims with tires you could definitely resell for more than a grand. Win win IMO. Sorry to continue spreading lies LOL, might as well edit this since you found out they were realy 18x8 38+...I doubt 30+ would work then...
Hey guys...After a 2 hour trip to the seller house, I finally mounted the Enkei 18x8.5 30 offset today!!!!!!!! I will post pic later. The setup is very agressive but the stance and look is awesome. Stay tuned for a few minutes.
Well, what can I say, I have no problems with turns because of the low offset. Rubbing issues, well I haven't hit a dip or pot holes. No rubbing for now but I think it will. I have TEINS. You will judge the pics. Wait...wait...
Here are the pics!!!! I'm in love with the look, and with the body kit I have here It gonna look aweasome. Enkei RPF1 18x8.5 30 Offset with Falken Azenis tires.
wooo looks really cool! my car was the same when i had 18x8 + 30 on 245/40/18 but i switched to 215 tires cuz i wanna lower without worries lol the rear is gonna rub for sure! u need to roll those fenders quickly
