I can't decide, I want to hear opinions from everyone here, good/bad, installations pro/cons, which looks better, rides better, noises after install, bumpstop cutting if necessary, are all parts included to install either kit sucessfully without sacrificing stock components. I'm looking at either buying the Eibach Pro Kit or the Sportline Kit in 1-2 weeks. If anyone has pictures to help compare the drops please post away.

    Eibach Pro Kit(6048.140) - 1.2" Front / 0.8" Rear

    Eibach Sportlines(4.4860) - 1.7" Front / 1.2" Rear

I was looking at tirerack.com to read the customers pros and cons about both kits and the sportline got really bad reviews from 99% of the customers. The Pro Kit got good very good reviews. It's not a big drop but for me I have to get springs that will give me a comfortable ride for long trips on the highway and everyday trips around the city and to go work.

Do you get snow at all where you are? If so I would say save up and get coilovers that way you can raise the car back up when it snows. That is what I am gonna do, we get hit pretty bad sometimes here in the northeast. If not the go with the lower drop, it will give a cleaner look for ya. Good luck.

Im going with the Pro Kit...reason being here in PR streets suck...put them too low and ill be leaving my front bumper everywhere...I was thinking on getting the Tein springs but those drop a 1.8 front and 1.4 rear...its just too much...good luck..

Sportline is lower and that's what I'm getting soon.

I think Eibach should release something in between... Pro-kit doesn't lower enough, and Sportline is too low and harsh.

That's why I am getting H&R, right in the middle with 1.4" front, 1.3" back.

Yes we certainly do get hammered here in the Northeast. I was thinking about getting some coilovers for my ride for the same weather related reason. Who sells coilovers for our cars?

Right now its only Megan racing that I know of. However TEIN is supposedly working on a couple sets of coilovers for our cars. Who knows when they will be done though. Where in the northeast are you? I am in CT.

Yeah you definitely get hit with snow, a bit more than here, but we get our share.

Hmmm, looks like the Pro Kit is the best overall choice, I live in Middletown NY, and I don't know if any of you have been through these streets before but they are terrible and the highways Rt.17 and I-84 that cross nearby are even worse. I like my GTS bumpers and and don't want to leave them behind like "skullpr" said. I would grab the Megan coilovers but i'm not planning on keeping this car for any more than another 2-3 years, then i'm going to buy an 06 Evo IX MR when this is paid off in 2010.

I go through your town quite often and I know exactly what you're talking about. During the winter the roads in Upstate NY, and probably the greater North East, turn into nightmares. I'd like to lower my car but just for that reason I'm thinking coilovers or nothing at all.

The sportline kit seems to be discontinued. I just contacted my dealerships supplier and they said the sportline kit is discontinued... That kinda sux because it just came out lol. Im gonna try a few other suppliers and see what they have to say.
