I've got a bone stock 02 ES. It's pretty mint aside from a few dents (couple from me already) and some hazy headlights. The previous owner tried to "wrap" the door panels in some sort of red fabric, then when I bought it he yanked it off and there is like glue and red residue all over them. It's like a hideous burlap. I yanked the driver's door panel off and noticed that the entire panel is all one piece (can't separate it to wrap it like other cars) but the original grey insert is half pulled off, tattered, etc... and it's the only piece that looks off / like shit in the whole car. What are my options? I've got black front buckets lol but otherwise everything else is grey in there. There are no OZs in the local JYs so I'm not really in a position to swoop OZ interiors. Has anyone wrapped their panels or anything along those lines?
Lol BUMP! The entire panel is one piece. What can be done, aside from the "spend a ton on OZ interior pieces?"
Spraypaint it? Lol. I have no idea, man. I know some people make interior "trim" pieces that just go over stock stuff, like a vinyl.

Hmmm. . . I may have to peep some of that. I can wrap stuff just fine, as I have in all the other vehicles I've owned, but this is the first that is truly molded as one piece. Maybe I'll just experiment. . . sans paint haha.
like all above said if you get some primer any paint color you like will work i did a two tone paint scheme that is red and white in one day all you have to do is remove the door panels get some steel wool and green scrotch brite and a solvent to remove all the glue residue make sure to rinse really good or the chemicals will mess with the paint causing it to run if you want a smooth appearance there is two ways to do it first is just do alot of light coats over the course of a few days or get body filler apply liberaly and then sand smooth you can also put fabric on it you do this either by using glue and a thin piece of plastic to wedge the material in the gap and then using spray glue for the rest you just have to smoth and stretch it as you go it takes a long time i tried and it took about 4 hours for one door and i didnt like tit so i painted
