I am also open to other suggestions or other amplifiers that you recommend that may be better than the two posted.

personal b/c you got dual 4 ohm coil i would run 2 mono amps like the kicker 300.1 or you can get i mono amp that is 1 ohm stable that is big bucks . if you go with a 2-channel amp it would have to be pretty powerful to push two subs . if you could i would return the subs and get dual 2 ohm coils so you can just get one good mono amp like the mtx 5601 from sonicelectronix.com . that is just my 2 cents

    thanks for the help guys...

question... if I switched the 2 12" Kicker 4-ohm voice coils to 2 12" Kicker 2-ohm voice coils, which of the listed amps would be the best to power the 2-ohm voice coil subs?

and again, taking suggestions for other amps that you think would be better to power the 2-ohm voice coil subs.
