Hi Guys This is a great 1st post. I got my lancer 2 days ago and then got in a crash with a taxi and now my car has a nice bumper mark in the door! How much do you guys reckon its going to cost to be fixed. If it can be? This is my 1st car so you can imagine how bummed i am about it
$3000-4000 easy. I may be over, but judging from the pictures its not a cheap fix. The door isn't the bad part, the part behind the door (quarter panel) and the part below the door (unibody pinch weld) is the problem. Though your best bet is getting an estimate and if it was the other guys fault having his insurance cover the repair. And for a lighter mode...Welcome to LancerTuners! Im in aus so styles may vary. its a 97 lancer CE Its only 3rd party so it only covers the other car. not mine. yer i got a quote for 4000 and the car is only worth 4500 so unless i find someone that can do it for me cheaper im gona wreck the car
ok well the quote for a pro to fix and repair was over $4000. But i was able to get new door and the rest from wreckers for under $500 so now just spend a couple of weekends fixing it up. Has anyone ever painted a car? (not with a can of spray paint) ill keep you posted with pics
