ok heres my latest predicament. while sittin in my garage after a nice tire roasting around the other side of the block i decided that i dont like the fact that only one tire was rolling. so now is there anyone that sells a limited slip differential or a posi-trac diff. maybe can i tear my tranny down and change to a solid spool?o_O

I think there is one for us. Are you auto or manual? Im sure you are manual. Its very hard to find and auto OZ Rally lancer these days. Lemme look up the lsd for you.

There isnt one directly for us. In order for us to get one you would either have to swap for a jdm mirage tranny or an awd eclipse tranny and then buy one.

    yea im 5speed, i had an 02 auto oz a couple months ago.......totalled =(
how hard is the swap for either

also would it be easier to buy a port and polished head intake and tb or just take mine to a shop

Intake manifold you can do but doing the head and all that you need to take it to a shop. They will have to tune it as well. That is def not a home project.

The runners on our 4g94 intake manis seem to be easy to port, so if you've pnp'd before. more power to ya. but like Jog said, take the head to the shop for work, because you're going to need flow numbers done as well so you know how its going to perform with the engine

Hopefully he knows mitsu because they are completely different from american tuning. Sure its the same concept but getting there is basically left from right.

God speed to you 03ozlancer, because you're going to need alot of help to get the tuning for the engine and the flow bench numbers to make that engine run normal. I'll tell you this, flow numbers are very hard to perfect if you're porting a 4g94 head for the first time ever. so i would get one from a junkyard thats in good condition just in case so you have your stock one so you're car can still run. Jog proves a valid point. hopefully you know some mitsu people so you can be pointed in the right direction with this

I'm not from Oklahoma, sorry lol. But its great that you are using the parts from the totalled car. Since you have another complete engine, just use that one and build a stroker lol

hmmmm i like that idea, would rrm have the crank and rods, and also are these motors stout enough to bore out for bigger pistons

I would assume so. Im not too sure. I've never really heard of anyone stroking their lancer engine. Most ppl would just go for the rrm ported and polished head on their website.
