Can i use this cable for the ipod?

    Hey i have this cable and i was wondering if i could cut off the ends and plug them in. would it work? [​IMG]

    I think it should. Just try it out.

    If you dont have the GTS witht he sound package than you will need to buy an aux cable from mitsubishi that hooks up in the back of the head unit.

    well i have a GTS and i dont have the sound navi ets, but i want to cut the ends of the red and white cables and stick them in the back to see if it would work. im going to try it and see if it works. be back in like 30- 60 mins

    it MIGHT work

    the actual cable has a module to regulate the signal to line level, as seen here:

    if you have experience and KNOW what you are doing, try it... but be very careful! If you arent sure or you dont know, just spend the extra money and get the real one.. only takes like 15 minutes to install it.

    yeah i tried it but it didnt work. i think im just going to but the OEM one thanks guys.
