hey everyone...just brought our new '08 ES home tonight (love it!!), and noticed that lovely brake/pad smell when we pulled into the garage...of course, this being our first brand spankin' new car (only had 11 km on it when we picked it up), we have no idea if this is normal and will work itself out, or if it is something that should be looked at?? thanks for ur help!! :wink:
very normal and congrats on the new purchase!!! and dont forget to introduce yourself in the "new members" section.
breaking in, rotors have a wax coating over it, its probally getting burned off which is the weird smell
