Hi ppl, new here. I posted this on the evolutionm site, but no response yet, but was joining here anyway.. so thought I'd post again. I'm from Australia, and we are about to see the new lancer arrive here on 1st October (took it's time! ) I'm going to be purchasing the ES model, which is basically the DE in the States. Won't be purchasing the top model, as it's $USD 25K !!! here. I'll be modding the ES instead Anyway I'm sorta a n00b with modding etc , but I'm after a set of BBS RG-R 18" (DBK) wheels, Offset to be 50mm (RG-R 749), there's another which has an Offset of 45mm (RG-R 738).... which would be better suited for this car? Does it make much difference? There's no way I'm purchasing these from Oz, cheaper to get a mate from USA to ship them over. Probably going to get these from tirerack.com I think they're the cheapest on the net I could find. I probably understand, I'm going to need some lowered springs, what's the best out atm? Have you checked out RRM they have alot of stuff out for the 2008, and other models. They are a bit pricey but you can bet they will back up they stuff. You can call and get quotes and they seem to work out okay. But everyone is different and have had bad times with them. Check them out and be alittle patient alot of parts have not hit the market yet. Also when they do expect them to be a bit more due to the fact that they will be going on the 2008 lol. Sucks i know.
Yeah thanks for that! ... For sure, I've checked out RRM and have read a lot of the forums about the mods they got... Pulley, hood, etc. Will be definately looking into purchasing some stuff from them!
