    Hey guys, just a question.

I wanted to get an aux cable for my ipod so i can hook it up to the car speakers. and i heard it ran around $50.

But as i was searching i found this one for $150!!
    https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/product ... cts_id/471

But then i found another for like $38

im just wondering why there's such a huge price gap?
they're both from mitsubishi parts, only difference is .net and .com

i was wondering if someone can explain that to me, and if the $38 is legit

Yeah there are different dealerships that charge different prices. Don't really know why. But I know that the one sold on the .net website is legit. They are also an authorized mitsubishi dealership.

well I would call ur local dealer with the part #, but this is what Im thinking:

$38 is for ur standard ipod cable that does NOT allow u to control ipod thru ur stereo controls and is on sale.

$150 probably allows u 2 not only allows u to hear ur ipod thru ur stereo but also lets u control it

and if so then i wanna get it.

i do no think if you get the $150 cable you will be able to change songs throughout the head unit but i bet you will be able to charge it and listen as well.

the aux cable is strictly music only

i have the aux cable myself

i bought it straight from the dealership.. it was approx $50... its just a 3.5mm plug to connect to the heapdhone plug to transfer the audio to the radio, thats it....

no it does make a difference. that cable plugs into the back of the wiring harness and ends up wiring in like it was there to begin with. Its not just a standard cable.

As long as you dont want to control your Ipod get the 38 dollar one. I bought mine though the dealer and thats what I paid. If you need help hooking it up let me know.
