'Ello ladies&gents, So i finally gathered some money i could throw into my car. I've been wanting to start to make her all beautified and what not, but i thought to myself.. it looks alright for now.. til i get some more $$ Instead, i'll keep my attention on my ES' Performance. So i decided. i'll leave the enguine work til i have a job.. as of now i'm going to start to build a better suspension system. I'm considering ordering this: RRM Front Strut Bar Progress Rear Anti Sway Bar Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs I wanted to get the entire Suspension package brought to us by the great people at RRM including: front strut bar, rear upper strut bar, lower truss bar and lower tie bars. but i don't have all that money right now so i'll probably end up getting the rest later. In any case i just wanted to see what you guys thought about my soon to be set up, Thankss
Well eventually i'm going to start taking my ES on the track for time attack, not a drag just a little cone course.
Irwindale speedway, everyonce in a while when i get on the 605 i see the cone set up and theirs guys out there with their cars ranging from regular accords to i've seen acouple porche's.
delphium_ have you decided on getting them yet? i've been contemplating the strut bar but no one has posted anything.
The upper strut-bar works nicely but it's not as noticable (stiffness-wise) as the Adjustable sway-bar. Both work nicely together.
LOL alvin. I don't have any springs on the car. And delph, the only reason i say i felt the sway bar more was because the stock upper-strut bar apparently is pretty decent. Had i NOT had a bar at all and THEN got the RRM Upper strut-bar i woulda felt a bigger difference than to not having one at all. for instance if i rated 1-10 on the improved-stifness i'd say the sway-bar was a 10 and the Upper Bar would be like a 6 or 7
No shit? How wack. What I would do if I was you (I also did this) get the parts separately. Or at least install them sperately. You should feel a slight increase in stiffness with each one. I went sway bar then upper bar
Haha well with the money restriction thats what i was planning to do BUT it'd be dope to install everything at once and have an orgasm the entire ride home
Just so you know with those parts you wont get anything better from the car for serious track and timing. You should invest the money into doing a racing school or performance driving day at a track. Youll lower your times and become a better driver.
Heh, I guarentee you would have more fun at a school and then driving your car stock, but Im just trying to help. Your money, your choice. Good luck with your investments
No don't get me wrong i'm entertaining the idea i'd love to get some proff classes to push another car hard. but if i wanted a speed car i wouldn't get a FWD lancer haha ;p Thanks anyway suba
