Amp and sub on standard stereo

    anyone pulled their standard stereo out yet and had a look if it has outputs for an amp. Just that i have seen a few pics and video's where people have what appears to be the standard head unit in the VRX and have added an amp and sub. Would be good if i dont have to worry about cutting into the dash/ finding a face plate just to get a sub.

    Most of these that you see are set ups that are using hi-lo converters.

    I recommend Audio Control's active hi-lo. It will take ur dirty oem signal and turn it into a work of art. They several models to choose from. So do a lil home work about the one that would suit your needs the best.

    yeah looking around more they are just using the signal from the back speakers for the amp + sub. thanks for the info on the hi-lo converter.. looks like it will help and still be cheaper than replacing everything.

    or just have a place install them for you. After constantly doing work on my Civic with audio, I got tired of it and paid a install place 80 to do it on my Lancer.
