What do you mean by normal Mitsu wiring harness?

The harness that you need is the Metra 70-7005

You can use the PAC SWI-CAN2 or the SWI-X. I recommend going with the X. They are both the same price.

The SWI-X only works with radio controls such as volume, etc correct? Does it not let you reuse the OEM Bluetooth if you got that option?

It should be able to retain your bluetooth controls as well. I have yet to install one on a GTS to give a 100% no BS answer.

Well, I mean more along the line of isn't the OEM bluetooth part of the HU. So even if you can retain the controls, the bluetooth reciever isn't there any longer

No, the bluetooth is a seperate little box. Not all Lancers come with the bluetooth so why make a radio that would have it??? The BT just connects to the headunit to display the call info and mute the radio.
