did you read the whole article?they say they dynoed at 224/257 stock after there modifications they were able to push another 104hp,with dyno sheets to prove it.!turbo back(3ich to 4 ich tip),cat delete,3 inch intake tube with k&n filter,bigger intercooler piping,man. boost controller,stock intercooler....theres your answer and they still havent messed with the fuel yet they say.
thats pretty much how you would start on any turbo car ic piping, exhaust, intake and boost controller basic things will get you good number
lol... I see what you are saying now... I look at it as not being a restriction but potential to modifiy with the beefier parts. They bring these cars to the US detuned and it is up to us as tuners to get the potential out of it. IMO the 4B11t will be just as good if not better then the 4G63t from what I am reseaching...
I agree on that "better that nthe 4g63" statement... ive seen similar numbers with the 4g63s with similar mods but you NEED to mess with the fuel system... they havent even touched the fuel system and they are putting out good numbers already... AMS has a pretty impressive evoX as well
