08+ lancer headlights with NO amber reflector??

    Do they exist? I've looked all over online and can't find them. Has anyone opened their heads and removed them? (if possible). I'm thinking about opening my heads and painting the amber reflector with chrome paint or color matching the amber and the rest of the head to the octane blue to match my car. Has anyone attempted the color match on a lancer headlight? If so, please post some pictures for me :)

    The amber sidemarker is required somewhere on your car. On a lot of newer cars, they're in the headlights, but like on our older Lancers they're on the front bumper. Same for the rear. The new ones have them on the back of the back bumper, while older ones have them in the tail lights. I don't know about the laws for changing them or anything. I don't see it being legal to not have any, but a chrome or smoked side marker would probably be legal.

    yea i baked mine way back in the day painted them black sexy as hell
