I have an 03 lancer es im wondering if i should turbo it or not. I think i could produce 200hp without going turbo for cheaper however im not for sure. if anyone could help this newb in need it would be appreciated
that's kind of what im wondering if i could get there or if i would have to turbo it. most turbo kits are around four grand i can do it, but i really dont know which way would be cheaper and most likely safer in the long run.the more i look at it though looks like turbo is the way to go.
as long as you do it right, do ur oil changes and your routine maintenance on your car you should be ok with turbo. I know i could not boost more then 7psi without bigger injectors. i installed bigger injectors with a re tune and now i should be able to boost at 12 psi but im just fine with 7 psi.
