I have blacked out my front end and wheels with plasti-dip and live in Florida. It has rained a lot, and I have a lot of standing water after storms around my neighborhood and everything is still looking good. I am quite pleased with Plasti-Dip

This stuff is amazing. This was the thread that made me join the forum lol. Good info here!

I Plasti-Dipped my front grille and middle bumper about three weeks ago after I moved my license plate to the side. Its holding up great. Drove it through several days of heavy rain and one car wash. I put on about 5 coats. Only thing was I didn't tape the grill up that well so there are really small bits of chrome showing on the grill. You really cant see it unless you are up close and looking for it, but it bugs me :|

Should i peel off the Plasti-Dip on the grill and redo, or will it work if i just respray the missing spots?

I was looking at the 2010 GTS and I noticed the round tow plate cover that is on the front bumper, did all of you people that used plasti dip just spray over this? Did any of you remove it, paint the bumper, then paint the cover, and then put the cover back on ? I ask because it seems like if your car ever needed to be towed that you would have to cut the plasti dip with a knife or something.
