Hey everyone, I have not been on here in a LONG time, but I got tthe itch to mod my car some more. I was wondering if anyone has installed headrest monitors in their lancer. If so, what size and what brand did you use? My passengers have asked me to get them as the from TV is small from the back seat. Thanks for the info.

Thanks bro. I thin kI am gonna do it, I just wanted to see if there was something already done so I had a reference, I think 6" or 7" monitors would work. I will try to get pics when I do it.

Yeah I go tthe itch to mod again lately when I realized I only owed $1500.00 on my car. Should be paid two years to the day of buying her. So excited. Time to get her looking sharp.

i thought about the headrest moniters. i would look into 6 inch, just to be safe but make sure you get something to cover it up that way someone doesnt see it and decide to jack it

I wasn't able to find any Lancer references to the rear monitors and there were no pictures either. Im going to ask around on a couple of other sites and see if anyone has info. But i think your right 6" should be a good fit i wouldn't go any larger.

Alex what happened to the Lancer? Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking 6 to be safe, but it is good to hear the sme ideas being thrown back to me, Good stuff. I hope to be able to get them by summer sometime, as well as a lip kit and those LED tails too. I also want to do interior lights. Lots to do, lots to do. Too bad money is always the issue. I am down for a mini meet. I juet need notice ahead of time to get time off work.

Ok so I went to the Stereo shop today with my headrest. they said 6" like we were thinking. They quoted me $500 for both installed. What do you think? Said the brand would be Farenheit. Never heard of it, but as long as it looks good and lasts I really dont care.

I know a guy that has about 6 moniters in his truck...all Farenheit. He says he hasn't had a single issue in about 4 years or so.

that is good to hear. Thanks for the update. I am looking online to get them cheaper, will have to ask about the install fee. Probably more since I did not buy them from him. as we all know firsthand, trying to do it as cheap as possible without being ghetto or ricey.
