I'm looking to install a in-dash GPS system into my 08 Lancer but I'm not sure on the size. Does anyone know if we have 1, 1 1/2, or 2 Din's in our cars? I've took a look a the radio before but I dint know what classifies as a din. Please hellp. Thanks in adv.

I think the new Lancers have a double-din. I'm not positive, but from what I've seen of them, it looks like a double.

I like Kenwood myself. I've been looking at getting a single-din flip-out touch screen for my 03, because we have single dins. I just got a new ipod and the touch screen makes it really easy to navigate through all the songs, and it comes with a navi, a whole bunch of stuff. Kenwood has been very good to me so far.

Is kenwood a good brand? I'm not to sure of whats good and whats not when it comes to in dash navi/Multi media units. I've had a Pioneer CD deck in the past and had no problems with it. I also don't know to many in-dash Navi/multi media brands so I dont no what to search for. anyone know of some good sites.

I do like the way the Pioneer looks and handles, I've just been a Kenwood guy since I got into car audio. A friend of mine has a double-din touchscreen Kenwood, and I really like the way it controls, and the ease of navigation. There are really only a few brands of touch screens that you can get from stores like Best Buy and such. Kenwood and Pioneer. Those are the only 2 brands at BBY. I'm sure if you look around on google and such you can find some as well.

yeah its jensen , i got it because it had the most features from any other unit out there and i didnt need to connect the Ebrake wire as Jenesen supplied the ebrake bypass code. im capapble of listening to music in front and watching a dvd on the other lcd's as long as you have headphones

bluetooth, dvd with divx and xvid,Sd slot, gps, ipod , sat radio, usb, rca for 2 extra lcd's,5.1 surround, sub out line, RCA in for reverse camera, built in equalizer and more stuff im sure im forgetting, oh yeah it also does picture slideshow from USB input while listenign to music on cd/dvd/or Sd card
here is a quick video i made last year with phone.
