    Yeah weight reduction does do a lot. I've never personally raced my Lancer at the track but I've seen people completely gut their cars just to get down a second lower lol.

    As for driving tips...
    1. Always put cutting boards (trays) under your rear tires and lock the e-brake. It'll make your car kick out and look badass.
    2. Always let your car get up 3k-4k rpm higher than normal when shifting. It'll sound SOOO much better!
    3. Fill your seats with blow up dolls. Girls will think you're a ladies man (or woman.)
    4. The hood? Take it off. It's more weight and how is that snorkel supposed to get air in it with the hood on?
    5. Last but not least... Lean back and drive with 1 hand with your shoulder cocked up. You'll look more manly/womanly.
