I haven't had any problems with mine. As long as you have your iPod turned all the way up you're fine. I usually keep my volume at around 20 with window's up and with window's down it was kinda loud around 35. I've had it at 45 but I couldn't even hear myself singing along lol.

 

i had the same problem, when i connected my ipod it sounded like crap. but then i invested in a monster cable. and AYO! awesome sound quality haha. teaches me for buying a cheap one the first time.

 

Always live by "You get what you pay for" lol

 

dont buy monster cables they are way over priced but a decent $10-15 cable is good

 

my system seems pretty quiet to me too
