So I plan on painting my stock GTS wheels black but am not really sure on how to go about taking off the rims to do so. Like is there anything special I have to do or do I just jack it up and take it off? And then also what will I need to do for putting them bakc on and after I put them bck on?

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure as long as you know how to change a tire and use tape you'll be fine. I haven't done mine yet but they look like they'd be really easy to do. Do you think ES rims would look good blacked out?

yeah i would just take off the wheel and tape the tire. or you could go take the tires off the rims and paint them that way. that would take all day though. To do that you need to use a tire changing machine.

umm did you not watch the videos i posted or the above pictures... ?? Jack up you car, take the wheels of buy 2 decks of playing cards ( you do not need to remove the tires ) stick them between the rim and tire like in pictures above, ( make sure your rims are clean ) then spray primer, let it dry then paint the wheels.. you do not have to balance anything after. just take off paint and put back on.. Make sure the paint is dry!

I may have one or 2 chips a month i just touch it up with same paint via small play brush.. I did not put clear coat on, but if you do you wont have any issues with chipping.. just make sure you clean the rims good!
