hi all, new around here, 22, and I hail from Western NY (buffalo area)
I'm still deciding on a new car and am definetly leaning towards a Lancer GTS..I need a daily driver.

I currently have an 94 S10 blazer for winter duty, and a 99 mustang...the mustang isn't going anywhere
its crystal white, I've had her for years and she's all paid for, just a few bolt ons CAI, intake work, Exhaust

I'm set on a GTS model in Octane Blue, with the sun and sound pack, I just can't decide on stick or CVT, it is a difference of like $900, I'm sure everyone will tell me to go with a stick shift, but, I'm more confortable with an auto, and the manual shift mode on the CVT is too much video game-like fun for me, haha.

I would say go with the GTS as long as you got that truck for the winter or you plan on putting winter tires on it because I can tell you right now the Lancer's get no traction in any kind of snow ;)

thanks...yeah I'm positive that I'd put snow tires on the lancer...I'd actually be getting rid of my blazer and replacing it with the lancer

I'm in the same situation about choosing between semi-auto and stick...

I just bought winter tires, went down to 205/60/16. Haven't put them on yet since I just got 16'' steel rims today. But man, my car got stuck in a ditch last night... not fun!! That was the first time I've ever burnt rubber in my car!! Poor baby....

I have had both CVT and m/t in the GTS.... I prefer the m/t becuase it is much more fun to drive. It is very easy m/t to drive.

    Go stick even-though I didn't which I regret :( Stickshift FTW!

pshh... m/t always. learned my lesson with my 3. i much rather deal with the clutching in heavy traffic for a total of about 3 hours (there and back) everyday for the little bit i get to drive like i want to vs. being stuck with an a/t, even one that does the "sport-tronic" thing all the time
