Unfortunately I was not able to get the Sun and Sound Package but I was able to get Navi in my 2008 ES. I really wanted the Fosgate system. My friend has an 08 GTS with the Sun and Sound and the Fosgate just sounds incredible for the money. My question is, does the non-Fosgate Navi have pre-amp outputs to add an amp and subs? I would think that it does. I just can't imagine Mitsubishi making two different Navi units. Has anybody inspected this? Thanks in advance.
Sorry... same navi. just a few less wires behind yours than the others. everything hooks into several wiring harnesses in the back of that thing. same with the amp. it doesn't operate off RCA cables. but rather a couple of hundred wires (exagerated, but it seems like it) that run from the navi to the amp and from the amp to the speakers. you can howevr get a line out converter that you can splice into the speaker wires on the back of it. That will give you your RCA's to go to your amp. or you could also just look around ebay or keep a watch on the 'private for sale' thread on our forum or other lacer/mitsubishi forums for someone selling there OEM RF system.
What about if I bought a complete OE RF 6 Disc changer system, would it have all the wiring for the amp and speakers?
if your still asking about RCA's then no. if you mean to hook into the OEM amp and speaker then yes, it *should*. i originally was looking at a GTS with the 6disc changer and the sun/sound package but no navi, so it *should* be set up for it. but you cant have both the changer AND the navi, if that's what your thinking. the changer is in-dash, not a seperate box sitting in your trunk or something.
