I went to a used car dealership last week to check out a 300C 2005 3.5 V6 and they are buying back my car for 19k , theyre selling the 300 for 11k before my dad took them down to 9,6k. So with what i still owe on the lancer and the price diference on the 300 I will have less than 15k to pay in 4 years. all in all it comes down to 40$ less a month on car payment and 2 years less to pay this amount , the cherry on the cake is insurance (because insurance now consider the lancer as a sport sedan they went up 300+ my acident another 275$ more) I am going from 1800$ a year to less than 800$ a year. A little bit more on gas but less on everything else, even on car parts lol, plus with my trashed knee manual driving was becoming a pain in more than 10 minutes traffic jam. so i am waiting to see if everything is going good and i will have my answer by thursday!
im sorry to hear that man... but ya do whatever is good for you now cuz u dont wanna get into no debt or anything horrible like that.. and the 300 is a good lookin car
well here theyre all badged 300c must be a quebec thing :? im just not sure if i wanna take the 300C or the charger they have on the lot, they both have around 70 000 kilometres and are that vanilla white color more or less base model!
honestly because all the jap cars i had were problems I had 5 GM 2 and 2 ford's all over 160 000 kilometres and had no problem at all had a mercedes with 230 k on it no problem at all get this a 2008 lancer with 15 000 kms on it = front suspension completely changed, engine overheated 2 times and problem was never found ,clutch stay half depressed sometimes and no tech ever found the problem, went to 3 set of shifter bushing (supposed to be a recuring problem on those lancers),airbag message going on and off , cat converter completely blocked at 3000 kilometres and now the rear end of the car is unwelding itself and on and on and on 1994 sidekick (had 30 000 km on it) had the truck for a lil bit more than a year, went trough 2 fuel pump, 1ECU, a set of gear cables, a transfer case and ultimately at 38 K had a crank overwalk problem, engine crapped on my on the highway at 110 kmH girlfriend 2005 civic crapped 2 transmission in 36K (automatic) and the Vtec was non functional since 7800 KM problem never found, they gave her a 2008 civic at manufacturer expense and she sold it to get back into a neon (she had over 450000km on the neon and only thing was a preventive headgasket change and a rusted out gas tank I did change this and we sold the car to a old grandma around here she's at around 500k on it now) all in all assembly quality on japanese cars is superb but reliability sucks when it comes to my experience
