Yup... I finally did it... I am not tooooo happy with both mitsu symbols, so I will sand them down again and redo them... I also did the eyelids on the headlights... anyways, you cant see the flaws from an airplane, so I'm good Let me know what you think? Eyelid: Lights on: {YES I KNOW THEY LOOK REALLY DARK...... AND I LOVE THEM  } Lights off: front Emblem: My girl's 3 was also victim of my painting skills! She only wanted the badges and the front grill That whole grill used to be chrome..... gross... now=sexy Random Pix: I didnt feel like popping out the tripod, so the pictures are..... alright Let me kno what y'all think...
Re: Blacked Out..... Cops have been handing out tickets left and right for tinted tails down here in S. Florida. If the cops are like I remember them up in o-town, i'd be careful.
Re: Blacked Out..... Man, This side of kissimmee is popo-town... every day at work i see at least 3-5 troopers, just on Osceola Parkway... Ive had a cop parked behind me in a light about 6 times already and ive had no problems... If anything happens, even though they were painted, it is very easy to turn them back to stock But you never said if you liked them or not
Re: Blacked Out..... i like them alot, what did you use for the eye lids and tails ai was going to do the same thing
Re: Blacked Out..... Its just black paint... now, its not any $2 rattle can. Its a paint that its designed for plastic, with no need of sanding or primer. Ive had them for a month now (procrastinated a bit on the pics ) and have had NO problem at all. the eyelids? painters tape, newspaper and psssssssssss ps ps ps ps ps ps psssss pssssss (rattle can sound rofl)
Re: Blacked Out..... Not a fan of the eyelids personally, but the tails are very clean and look good. I got the ralliart tails myself, just to avoid the hassle with cops down here. But overall looks very clean. Keep it up
Re: Blacked Out..... Looks great! I didn't think I'd like the blacked out look, but it works really nicely on the 9G Lancers!
Re: Blacked Out..... Update! BEFORE--- AFTER--- BEFORE ---- AFTER --- What a difference huh? MORE! Here with my girl bumble bee from SUF, most of you locals have met here.... i <3 her
I like it in general, but are you gonna do anything more about those headlights? and how did you do the side markers? I was thinking about spray tinting mine, but I am not a hundred percent sure its gonna work, or that I'm gonna do it right, so I am holding off on that.
The headlights seemed to be a lil green stained in the first pic... Illusion of hte picture or truth? Either way the eyelid came out nice. Came out nice tho. Tengo q subir pa orlando pa ver los carros tuyos, y eric no termine los Halos lol
Sweet JESUS, that's looks sexy Hector. Now, come down here so I can drool all over you're car I'd like to meet missy bumble bee myself cuz her ride is legit...
Hey, I didnt think I would meet another Hector on the internet so easily  , and I thought my name was quite uncommon!! lol, That does look good thought I have always wanted to black out a car, but I wanted this one in red. So maybe on my next one.
the paint is krylon fusion, you can get it at walmart for like $5...that stuff is great. What did you use on the rims, i wanted to powder coat mine black, but if thats a decent paint then hell ya...i love it!!! looks good man I went to culinary school out there in o-town, i worked for like a week there in kissimmee at Blue Max and those troopers were everywhere
I am familiar with the krylon paint, I just didnt think that the light would shine through it, was that used for the tails? I would say use something like that just for a lip. I thought most people were using something more along these lines for the full light http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=vht-sp999 thats why I have been wanted to try for a while but I dont know exactly how well it works (longevity of it). Most pics I see on other cars with people saying they used it, looked really good, but various people have said they didnt follow the exact instructions.
