Ok ... this sucks and happened today around 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM
a SUV was making a turn and the driver lost control of it.... hit a light pole on the passenger side of his vehicle and the pole went flying and landed on my car... here are some pics...

Well I hope you and the other parties involved were not seriously injured. An accident is certainly one way, albeit not a favorable one, to have an excuse to mod your car. :p The hood looks good though.

none was injured... but now am without a car for 2 weeks... (estimate) and waiting from accolade to email me the price for the hood... maybe I have to pay diference... but think its better than full price.. LOL... the driver just lost control of the car and hit the brake... but did not pump the brake ...

thats what anti lock brakes do fo you
unlike in older the anti lock breaks pump them when slammed instead of just skidding

Claim whiplash, PTSD, lost wages, etc. then you will have enough to get the whole kit. Better yet just buy an Exo X. :D j/k! Just make sure that the damage to your A pillar is fixed perfectly. There is nothing more annoying than air whistling into your car at high speeds.

Btw, glad you are ok. :thumbleft:

LOL.... thanx... but seriously.... insurance dont change cars just like that? do they? and what is PTSD? Whiplash? lol.... sorry but me dumm when it comes to this... je je je

Lol, PTSD is Post Traumatic Stress disorder. If you didn't go to the hospital right after the accident I don't think the whiplash argument will fly.

I know Allstate does new car replacement rather than a depreciated check if your car is totalled, but it doesn't look like your ride was totalled just banged up a bit.

Contact your insurance carrier or agent with your questions afterall this is what they get paid for. Also try contacting the insurance company of the other party involved to see if they'll give you a rental while your car is getting fixed. In all likelyhood they should but they'll be able to answer all your questions.

It's not a problem at all, it happens to everybody at some point in life and it's better to ask questions than get taken for a ride by the insurance companies. Believe me I used to be an insurance adjustor and after learning how to professionly screw people for six years I know they'll try and give you the least amount possible. Bottom line is you're the victim so get the repairs you want and if they give you grief hire an attorney.
