Quarter Mile Time

    I went to the track with my car when I had the cat back and the SRI.. I only had my car for no more than a month and I was still learning how to drive it. I ran like a 17 sec quarter mile.. which is horrible.. I think I can get into the 16's now that I have the crank pulley installed. How many of you guys have been to the track and what were your times? Also was your car a CVT or Manual?

    I'm interested in what people's times were on that as well, I have yet to do it myself, but very soon I will head out there :D

    lol...I ran my 2g eclipse and havent done it to my lancer yet. I forgot who, but someone here posted 16.6. Not sure what kinda of tranny he has but a pro did the 5speed in 15.9.

    16.59 @ 86.9mph Pretty hot 90 some degree day...but thats my best yet...manual transmission

    i was running high 16 all day with my stock 5 speed 2008 lancer

    what about the difference between the 5-speed & cvt on a 1/4 mile run

    i know i run mine @ 17sec stock...got 15sec with SRI, catback, exhaust
    @ 5-speed (pzev)

    Personally I would love to go watch you guys drag, but I have no interest in it myself. I know Bras is interested in doing it, but he goes to Fontana.
