Has anyone ever heard of this? Supposedly there is a Seatbelt mod that allows you to stop the Chimes when you don't wear your seatbelt PLUS IT ADDS 10 EXTRA HORSEPOWER!?! Could anybody direct me on how to do this? I would still of course wear my seatbelt but I would really love to stop the chiming PLUS IT ADDS 10 EXTRA HORSIES!
Well, I know on the 04-06's that you can unplug the seatbelt receiver that's under the seat. When I put my stock seats back in after my racing seats, I left it unplugged. Haven't had a beep or a belt light since.
You're an 04/06 model though, maybe that's when they started it. I didn't think mine was supposed to.
I will be dammed if car that I pay for, and put gas in to run it is gonna tell me what to do! Does that make sense? It's like if you had your girlfriend or your wife nagging at you the entire time because you didn't want to do something. I don't want to hear that shit, and while I've been slacking lately on the seatbelt department, most of the time if I have a trip over 10 miles, I'll throw my seatbelt on or if conditions are shitty....but if I'm just driving somewhere close, I don't want to hear that shit. Hell it goes off when I move my car up closer to my building at work and put it back in park!!!! That makes no sense, why would you need the seatbelt on when you are parked! It's definatly a touchy subject with some people, but the way I see it it's my car and this is suposed to be a free country (Yeah...right!) so I should be free not to wear a seatbelt. The people who complain aren't riding with me, and if they were they could still wear their seatbelt!
Bump. Took my car to the dealership, they wouldn't fix this issue for me saying some crap about "State Law" or some garbage! I'd love to know how to get that extra horsepower that I've heard about!
