my ac is always running when the blower/fan is on, no matter which vents i have the air coming out of...floor, defroster, whichever. i dont understand the symbols on the fuse box under the steering wheel. (and i dont have my owners manual.) its winter time, i dont need ac, so i want to take the fuse out for it if possible.

You can look on Google for a diagram of the fuses and such. But, I'm pretty sure there is a fuse for it. Not positive though.

mine use to be like that but the exact opposite, my heater was always on, it wasnt the fuse, like it was behind the control, i dont know what it was called, but that might be whats wrong with yours too

I have the same problem. It's the control arm for the temperature controls. I forgot all about that. Is the temp control hard to turn from one side to the other?

Both of them work, it's just that when I want to change it from heater to a/c or vice versa, I have to reach down under the steering column kinda, and push/pull a gear type thing while turning the temp control. It works, so I'm not complaining too much. I've learned to deal with it.

i was actually talking about the 'AC' button. the green light is always on. probably wasting gas by this. yes the climate control knob is a little stiff to turn from blue to red but it still works. but when i have the heat on, the ac button is always lit, and the ac is always running. ( i can hear it) i looked at the fuses under the hood, there where like three of them with what looked like a snow flake symbol. i took one of them out and it turned off the fans under the hood. ac light is still on tho. its just so frustrating.

Did you try pulling the other 2 and see what they did?

i tried all of them but not at the same time. didnt know if that would hurt anything or not. 2 out of 3 of them turned the fans under the hood off. maybe ill try that tomorrow.

Hmmm. I can't really think of anything else, or what would cause your a/c to always be on. That's confusing. Did you look at the wiring behind the a/c controls?

Yeah its under the hood. its the fan with the snowflake on it, but changing the fuse make it blow colder air too? cause my oz rally has air is cool. but its not ICY COLD! any help with that

i would ask a dealer, they would more than likely be able to at least tell you what to look for exactly. could be something more than just a fuse

Hey, my a/c doesn't work at all. Lol. I had someone look at it and they said my a/c compressor clutch and coil were going out and not making contact on the compressor sometimes, thus making it stop blowing cold air. The part I ordered came in yesterday, so I'm going to pick it up today and hopefully work on it Saturday before I go to work.

maybe look into an A/C delete kit?? then you won't have to worry about any more hot air with the A/C button lol. plus less weight , just a thought

    no hot air blowing @ 90degrees > hot air blowing @ 90degrees
A/C is for women, delete it if its broke! lol
