Lancer Tow Hooks?

I know the Honda guys do it, but never seen too many on anything else. Maybe a few scoobies, but never a Mitsu.

 

I've thought about mounting a permanent set on the R/A...but not that style. I have those for my track days that I just take off afterwards...but I've been wanting to do these for a while now...




These are the "BMW Style" tow straps. They have a small rubber insert that slips in the end to prevent the strap from falling behind the bumper. When you're not at the track, you can push the excess strap back into the bumper and it will stay put until you pull the end out.

 

i like the tow hooks that come out the front. i think those look mean when done right

 

I like the strap ones a little bit more, because you can "hide" them. And, I just think they look better.

 

I'm considering the same thing. With all the snow we got last winter, this would help if I ever get stuck or end up in a ditch.

 

Agreed. Tow hooks are a little tacky, especially the ones in the front. I think if your going to use, make sure it's concealed otherwise it screams "Look at me! I'm following the ricer crowd"
