Lancer Tow Hooks?

    Anyone have a tow hook on there Lancer? I'm thinking about getting one to add some much needed color to my car...hopefully I wont have to actually use it lol. Not trying to make my car look like a Honda but I am curious as to how it looks. Post pics if you have one!!


    Heres the ones I'm thinking about getting.

    I've thought about it...a lot. I have seen the R/A with a set...just have to find the pics.

    where do they bolt up to?

    they bolt up to the factory "hooks" on the front and rear. I know oh the 7gens, there are 3 in the front to pick from...the left and right are stamped steel pieces recessed behind the bumper, and center one is a small piece of 1/4" round welded to the front lower crossmember. There's another 1/4" round bar welded onto the lower part of the trunk pan as a rear tow point.

    Here's SlvrOz117's old car off of Evolutionm with his Benen tow hook, It looks good, and I don't have a rear lip so it won't be slanted down.

    Yes, It goes on your factory rear tow hook right behind the rear bumper.

    Ended up going with BENEN, By far the most popular brand and they look to be good quality.

    Meh. To each his own. I'm not really feeling it too much, but as long as you like it. At least you did it right, and not some cheap way. Props to you.

    That's definitely the first Lancer I've seen with a tow hook, so it's definitely different.

    I have seen 2 other ones with them so far and a couple of Mirages with them. A crap load of Honda guys do it, and actually quite a few Subaru and Evo guys as well.
