It looks really nice overall, a little too blocky.

The only thing stopping most people are probably the price and the pictures. It looks like they have some insanely small rims on it that it's hard to tell how far the body kit drops.

Extreme Dimensions just released there GT concept body kit. I would prefer that.

i was actually considering it. heck even the evoX conversion got me going BUT all they can show is certain angles and not a production picture of the kit. I want to see the WHOLE kit before i spend a thousand dollars on anything.

Yeah that's the only thing that I don't really like. They need to put pictures of the actual kit that they sell.

im most likly going 2 get there evo x conversion when i can afford that money and plus i live in canada so even more money cost for shipping and handling and what not, but we shall c

i mean alot more companys r making things for the evo and not the lancer, i mean i would want to have the cwest evo x body kit on but even if i do that id still have to evo x conversion it

and also its OEM plastics not fiberglass

for me the GT kit is not just to boxy but it has a huge hole in the front which im not to sure about

but we shall c when the time comes and which 1 i can afford and what not

I sent an e-mail last night requesting a photo of the actual kit, instead of seeing photos of an EVO X. I got there reply this morning and this is what I got

I really haven't read any where on who actually bought that kit. Besides, they didn't have actual pictures, so it's kind of a gamble to buy it.[/quote]

yeah your right they took it out. probably got tired of people asking about it and calling them out. i just email them too about the conversion and all they keep saying is that its bolt-on! BS! its going to be more then bolt-on with that kit.

The kits are good and everything, but why not just leave the car stock and not look like something that you are not? (like the evo x conversion)

i just look at the big picture and imagine a nice STI rolling up to your side revving and everything, and all you can do is look forward and pretend he is not there LOL... or even worst, i wouldnt even DARE to take my car to the track with an evo x kit and then do high 15s ROFL

but yea... to each its own.... props to whoever goes the extra mile and goes for it :)

I honestly can not see any kit that will look good on our car that much. Due to the design and edges of our car. With our car, I think minimalistic is best. That r-spec body kit looks so weird, did anyone buy it?

now that the evo x is out

i asked my dealership parts and service about any evo body parts wise they told me that evo parts will not fit on a regular lancer

and considering accolade took the kit off there website saying that they sold out but i havnt seen any1 with the kit or pics with the kit on our cars

is it possible that they figured out that the kit didnt fit and took it off there site telling ppl that the kit was sold

    or is my dealership wrong?

Im thinking your dealer was probably right. I talked to VIS on the phone about 2 months ago and asked them if they were going to make an Evo X style hood for OUR lancers. They said "in a couple months. It'll be the stock X design"

so this leads me to believe that if the evo x hood DID fit our car, then we'd all have X hoods by now. but we don't and i think the companies have to wait to get the X before they can make parts for our car.

I think the problem is that the evo x has larger fenders
I guess it must be possible to swap them for evo x ones
i'm only guessing i'm no expert correct me if im wrong
I was looking forward to the ralliart kit
