Hey guys first sorry if this in the wrong area. But when i get back from this deployment i will have over 20000 dollars. I know i am getting some upgrades but like i said before i am knew to the world of tuning. Ifor sure am getting my new rims. The STS turbo again is a 95 percent possibility. But after that , Oh! and replacing my dome and side marker lights, thanks AMG. Can anyone give me a decent direction to go in i thinking exhaust and intake, but with the STS the Cat Back would seem to be the way to go. But again im kinda cunfused. So any ideas would be greatly appricated. Thanks everyone.

if you like just ask the shop that is doing your sts and try to change the muffler axle only if that works. RRM pulley/springs :D

What is the point of modding for you? To look flashy, to perform on a track, to enter shows?

With 20 grand you can pretty much do a complete setup for any needs. Here are some suggestions:

Flash/Show - body kit and paint job, wheels

    Performance - suspension, wheels, tires

Since you are doing the STS turbo, I would hold off on the intake but I would go with the exhaust. I am not sure how the set up would be with the STS on the 08 but the one I saw on a 1500 chevy had one on the sts system itself and on the tb in the engine. Hurry back!! and good luck out there, brudda

Thanks guys I thinking first im going Performance - suspension, wheels, tires. Im pretty sure i can get tires alot cheaper over here and wont have to pay for shipping lol. I also want to see if any companies will put out a turbo before i get back. I like the STS concept but really hate where the air intake is. The risk of water intake looks much higher. Put with a decent system it should not be an issue but there is always that chance, but it could happen regardless of any system installed. Again thanks guys. Hope your Christmas was good, I know it was better than mine lol. Hell only allowed 2 beer per man lol.

    ^agree

However if not, u will need a custom exhaust made. Most turbos like to see a 3" style set up but depending how things are made with the sts kit(which I would like more info please), u may be able to use the stnd cat back which I highly doubt.

^ At one point I was looking into the STS Turbo aswell.

It looks pretty cool cuase the actual turbo sits under your car, intergrated into your exhaust. So basically, you'll definitly need a total custom exhaust cuase you have to use thier universal kit for our car.

Heres the link to the website KRU... explains it pretty well and even has a bunch of vid clips of cars with thier system installed.

$20k is a lot of money, don't spend it all on mods. If I were you I would spend maybe $5k and invest the rest. That should be enough for the turbo, intake, exhaust, and rims. Then buy a better car later down the track. Your wallet will thank you for it.

$5k might buy the parts but it definately wont cover the parts plus labor.
