im guessing the tires are good.. its just that our stock wheels are just to narrow to have good grip.. and not wide enuff. but im not shure if thats correct

it looks like my car and yours are pretty identical, we both have the projectors and the stupid tires

the Yokohama Advan A10 are nothing but tires made of rubbish material, the have no grip either on corners or on braking, wet grip sux as well, they're very noisy and the ABS will kick in everytime your foot touches the brake paddle, i've never had such bad tires before..
i couldnt live with them t all i changed them when they had like 80% of thread left in them..
I went for falken FK452, 225/40 ZR 18.. these tires are just amazing bro, they grip like anything and you can never go wrong with them!

Advans are good tires. they just suck on the stock GTS rims, if they were wider there will be a difference. if i remember right i think the Evo X comes with those tires. i have Yokohama Advans Neovas 235/40r18 on a 18x8 wheel, i noticed the difference in grip with a wider rim and they grip awesome!

Advan A10s are very bad, its not only me who had problems with these tires on their lancers, lots of my friends are suffering and some of them have made accidents because of the bad grip!
the evo x come with Yokohama Advan A13, and i think they're better

Damm I really didn't have a clue!, The first thing I did when I came home with the car was swap the 16" for the 18" I got now and put them on storage, never look at the brand name.

Are you using 225/40 on the stock Rims? Do you have any pictures of them installed? I was wondering if it will fit on stock GTS Rims.

I remember watching a test of the Lancer Ralliart, they said the car would handle much better if it wasn't rolling such skinny tires. They tend to lose grip when pushed. I would suggest 235/40R18 thats closest to the stock tire size and will give you plenty of footprint to work with.

Its a direct fit on the GTS Rims, nd they look much better!
I will upload a photo soon

The Stock GTS/Ralliart rims cant handle 235/40 tires tbh, i actually installed a 235/40 R18 tire on my stock rims, they looked very bad and they were very difficult to install, so dont do it cause the sidewall of the tire was out of the rim boundary and curved!
best size for the GTS would be 225/40 R18 or 225/45 R18 ! forget about 235 on stock rims

Advans are excellent tires... The width of the rim is the problem.

i have the dunlops too, gonna switch to a toyo or a nitto tire, get tires that actually have some tread on them.
