I got a call about 10mins ago about my warranty being canceled...I dont which vehicle it was for because I got other 2 mitsu cars under my name...has anybody else got this call
they cant just call you up and say we are canceling your warranty.. it was prolly about one of your other mitsu cars telling you that its expired..
i hope its not the rev over 5k thingy and it cancels hahaha just kidding... prolly ur older car which warranty expired
iv had some idiots call me saying 1 of my cars warrenty been expired but it wasnt detailed so who knows wtf it is. We own 3 Mitsubishis and all are under 2years of age.
we got an 06 outlander 07 eclipse and my 08 lancer and It couldnt be any of this and all of them are under 20k miles except my lancer for have 25k, but still...the call was automated or something and it did sound profesional and detailed coming fron mitsu...I know I did give my number out at the dealer when I bought these cars and also for the fact that my number is a business/work number so I cant get any prank calls on this number... I guess I'll have to call mitsu tomorow and find out exactly what is going on...I'll let you guys know what happen...
I get calls like that every day , seriously i do. If it was an automated call than look at these clues so you can distinguish an addvertisement from the real thing. If the call doesn't mention at all the name mitsubishi then it's probably an ad, or if It doesn't mention your name etc. so check the level of detail. If it's automated it may not mention your name but at least it should mention Mitsubishi right? The call I get starts something like this: This bla bla bla concerning your car's (or vehicles idk) warranty bla bla bla. Good luck
i get the same calls saying "your warranty is about to expire" on my 2003 Lancer however my car has been out of warranty for about 15,000 miles now. They are just idiots trying to make money
Yup, its a countrywide scam going on. My wife and I have received the same calls countless times. They did a report in the newspaper and our state attorney general is looking into it. Basically the authorities tried to backtrack the numbers and they end at false companies or disconnected numbers... and they come from all different states. This is a major scam to sell people false warrentees on their vehicles. Heres the article from our local newspaper from a couple of weeks ago. http://www.nhregister.com/WebApp/appman ... %2F1700685
so I guess it was a prank call after all...I cant believe they got through verizon's spam filter... I just got a word back from mitsu and tells me that the only time they warranty is voided is when there is an illegal modification that causes a damage to the vehicle...
I didn't know that this was a scam...get one of the mods to sticky this...i think its important enough ya know?
