Valve cover color?

    what can you use to change the color of your valve cover?

    There's a guy on a local forum that just sanded it all down, painted it with Krylon high heat paint, I think is what he said. And painted it white and then drew with sharpie on it and clear coated it. Looks ok. But, main thing there is to use the high heat paint.

    Not a problem. What color are you thinking about doing? And, what color is your car?

    well im stupid i ment the engine cover.... can i still use what u said? and i have the octane blue lancer so i was thinking whit or lime green idk.....?

    Yes, I would go ahead and use that still. I think normal paint works, but I'm not too sure. I know there's a few people on here with 8g's that painted what you are speaking of. It's like the plastic piece that goes over the engine, correct? I don't know too much about the newer Lancers. Lol. And, with the blue, I'd go with white if you have narrowed it down to those 2 colors that you want. Or, lime green could look good as well. If you're going for the JDM look, it would be good. Or a really bright orange, or pink. Lol. As long as you like it really.
