Hey guys...just a quick question here. I know that with the new Ralliarts and Evos that anything done to performance should really be tuned each time. However, I was wondering if there is a tune neccessary if i change out the upper intercooler piping? I'm looking into doing this as my first performace mod. Thanks for the help!
Its recommended but not necessary. I vote against it. Now when you change your intercooler then you will need a tune. Sent from my DROID2 using Tapatalk
As for a straight up tune...I wouldn't think so. Is the new UICP a larger diameter? If its going to change the amount of airflow, increase or decrease the airspeed into the TB....I say just do the usual battery disconnect and reset.
Nah, it's no bigger or anything, just increases airflow a little bit and CLAIMS to add 8 horsepower....no big whoop. I don't forsee any issues after all it's pretty much just an engine dress-up for 150 bucks haha. I'll have pics up once i install it all...I don't plan on doing much more to this, as I don't have the ability to just tune my car whenever.
I'm debating...I like the ultimate racing because it's simple..but I'm really leaning towards the injen because I can get in black (yes I know the ultimate racing comes in black too, but it's 25 bucks more to get it black). I like the way the black injen looks on my car! Does anyone have any opinions?
