Hi everybody, Just wondering if anybody knows what the wires in the driver side of dash are for?? I have an 08 lancer DE... I took my dash apart to route some wires and noticed there is a connector for a switch were the 3 holes for switches are... but there is no switch on it.. only the 3 hole "blockers/covers"... any ideas what this connector is for??
I've got those too and I'm pretty sure that's just for your fog lights or interior lighting if you decide to install any.
Damn, I always thought the cool kids had it on the steering wheel Back on topic, You can put anything there to be honest. They are just there for fun
lol... I know it's not for the fog lights because I have them on my car..(took them as an option at the dealer)
Huh? arent the fog lights all in the same spot? Mine's on the steering wheel with the headlights LOL that little switchiemajig.
Aww muffin!! There's a little twistie button thing beside where you turn your headlights on that turns the fogs on or off.
Yeah I think I've seen one before. I wish I had the money for fogs... but HID's are more important right now
Yeah I don't really wanna put any more money into my car LOL. Everything I've done so far has gotten ruined somehow except the stars and the strobe lights. What a waste of almost $1500.
Wow. That sucks... so far I've put in a whopping $50? $10 - city lights $30 - ARS eyelids $6 - 2 cans of plastidip lol
in my ralliart thats where the ASC control is, basically traction control.. no idea why they would run the wires on a regular lancer, although i had them as well when i had my gts..
