No you would use an Evo 8 turbo. The 3 faces the other direction.

ohkay if the evo 3 faces the other direction then how come the turbo that RRM sells say its a evo 3 turbo??its just confused me...lol

Well they rotate it, I'm just saying the Evo 8 turbo is easier to get your hands on, flows more than the 3, and you'll have more aftermarket stuff you can use with it. The Evo 8 turbo with bolt to that manifold though.

Yea I know how it is. Feel free to shoot me any questions. It took me from July 2009 to November 2009 to complete my setup. That included buying parts, installing, and getting everything running right.

if you want a proven kit for the 02-03 go for RRMs kits its well made and proven & tested for the lancers

After if was all said and done how much did you put into your turbo ThunderOZ, Im really considering putting one in my car just gotta weigh some things first. I was talkin to my buddy who tunes his civic (Booo) all the time and he knows quite a bit about tuning a turbo. He said I could tune it to not burn too much gas. My Lancer is my Daily car so i dont wanna be filling up ever 3 days lol.
