I drive a manual Transmission and I can never get a good start without my wheels spinning. I end up having to get it rolling and then go but i lose time and acceleration doing this. Does anybody have any mod ideas on how to get better traction for the start?
play with the cluch and gas as you are starting you will allways chirp them a bit. Their is no real way to tell someone how to launch well you can only practice
Yeay, you really can't tell someone how to launch. I have a stage 2 Ecedy clutch in my R/A...and it grips hard. What I have to do is launch at arouns 2500 and then, instead of just punching it, I have to roll into the throttle. Its a pretty fast roll, about 1 second from when I dump clutch to WOT. Second gear is the same for me too...just a quick roll.
if you are still running stock tires, this will hinder grip. Wider wheels will help. An LSD, which is currently in production stages with an ETA of July 09, will help also. http://forums.evolutionm.net/lancer-tra ... 009-a.html
