Touring Package for GTS* Active Stability and Traction Control system (ASC) • Auto on-off Xenon HID headlamps • Rain-sensing windshield wipers *Available after June 2008 on the mitsu website and yes its american
yup, i think the price tag is $2k for the package though ... and thats the TCS i was talking about on the 09's in a thread before... any idea how exactly it works?
"ONLY" on the '09s, it still isn't available and won't be till june 2009 according to the mistu official website
In Trims and Accessories: http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/ ... ackagesTab June 2008. Where does it say the price though? I hope it's not 2k, that seems an awful lot. I hope not!
i meant 2008, had '09 in my head from the new car model year lol... but i read 2k on some article when i was researching the '09s... can't wait for the new GTS model, the new engine is supposed to shave off a whole second from the 0-60 time ^_^
those bastards...I just want to lights...could care less about the windshield wiping shit...I mean, how lazy are we?
u know what, i thought the same exact thing, those auto windshield shit is completely pointless... how hard is it to move ur hand which is next to the steering wheel about 2 inches to turn a knob, or move the lever up or down (idk how it is on the lancers, i turn a knob on my civic)... seriously, whats this world coming to? -_-
woot, i'll already have the traction controll stuff, and the automatic light and rain sensor. 2 months cooldown before i get it, can't wait!!! Belgium for the win
im only interested in the headlight...at least its coming out...next thing to watch out for is the taillight...
man that makes me mad! why couldnt they have made the gts model faster than the de and es models from the beginning.. all of us that bought the 08's have to suffer cuz they couldnt think of doin that sooner.. im mad!
they announced that the '09s would be having an upgraded motor almost a year ago now... if u want, i can find the article to show u ... so it's OLD news :-\
I'd love to get hold of the projector housings. The entire headlights will probably not be compatible with our cars. Lets not forget we have DRL's in our lowbeam, and this is controlled electronically by the ECU. Whereas with these new HID Lancers, the DRL is probably in a separate bulb, where the high beam is in our car. So it would take replacing the wiring and re-coding the ECU to get it to work properly. So at the best I think we could get the projector housings and use an aftermarket HID kit.
