What are some good ones? I called around and go quotes for 130-300 for tints on all 5 windows. The cheapest one was doing Solar Gard tints. The most expensive was doing 3M. 200-250$ was putting on Lumars.. What have you guys experienced personally and what do you guys recommend?
i whouldnt pay more than 200 dollars for tints. lol and ur sig just keeps reminding me how bad our car need to be lowered
That is lowered. LOL! Ouch! Sorry dawg! I am a fan of Solar Gaurd. pm me TATSUJO! My buddy owns a tint shop. House of Tints in Tustin/Santa Ana. Make sure u tint the front windshield. thats the only way to roll. Yeah its illegal but----oh well. Its bad ass and gr8 on the interior and eyes.

yea! because tinting your car to keep that good-ol' harmful sun outta yours and your passangers' face is THEE equivalent of speeding by a school. i get what serious is saying but he just used a horrible analogy. lol

I have heard of tickets around here... but only in small college towns where the cops have nothing better to do... A buddy of mine got a ticket for drinking a beer outside of his appartment, so go figure...
exactly. here in california, what i find is that the tint's are usually an "add-on" citation to another moving violation. you won't get pulled over JUST for tint. but if you're speeding or you already rolled a stop sign, they'll add the tint infraction TO the ticket. that's what happens majority of time to all my buddies with tint jobs. it's a risk. but not in-itself a huge risk

Its all good. I was just pocking fun with you. I know in this business you have to get creative. It pays to play. Owning my own car audio/video/tint shop I have done several "illegal" jobs. But hey, I do what pays the bills. The customer is responsible for the tickets, not me. lol
