I don't see why not. Hell, give them a try...and if they don't fit, sell them.

Yea i'd say so, they come as a pair, if you got yourself a new hood, like a nice new carbon fiber one, they go great together.

but, do they slow down the hood, or make it easier to open, or are they a show kind of thing

they do not slow down the hood, it opens automatic once u pop the hood, it can be for show, and it is easier to open

keep in mind different hood-lifts will act differently depending on compression.

also, the hood wont lift when you pop the latch from inside your car. but when you put your hand under the hood, and release the safety-catch latch from the front of the car.

when you release the front latch..you can step back and most of the lifts will lift the hood (somewhat slow, but a good-dramatic "look whats inside" type of slow)

some dampers, need an assist...meaning you lift it partly up---and at some point the damper takes over, and will lift it the rest of the way.

i think the problem you might get with the ones for the evox is that the evox hood weighs a lot less then the stock lancer hood so they might not be strong enough

naw light weight hoods, carbon fiber, and fiber glass, as I have seen, have never really given anyone trouble, I've worked on a few and they worked flawlessly. Well worth the money, plus they look pretty slick
