Hey guys I am running into a complicated situation. Here is the deal, I am currently doing a freelance graphic job that will put $4,000 in my pocket and I am looking for a way to spend it on my lancer.

I was thinking of purchasing the fallowing.

APR Carbon Fiber Wind Splitter - 08+ Lancer - $310.00
    GT-S Side Skirts - 08+ Lancer - $285.00
    GT-S Front Lip Kit - 08+ Lancer - $300.00
    Megan Racing Coilovers - 08+ Lancer - $900.00
    Rims/Tires - $1,200 Give or Take

So this all would put me at a rough estimate of $2,995 which leaves $1,000 left over. I did promise to buy my brother the gts lipkit so take off $600 so I will have $400.

But I was curious if maybe purchasing a bodykit would look better than what I want there? Because in this situation i am putting $900 into bodywork where I can purchase maybe some kind of bodykit and be another individual on this forum?

Anyways what do you guys think?

Yes I was thinking the same but I do not want to be the first test dummy. I want to see how others engine handles it and than I will concider that because I have another job planed ahead which will let put at least $4,000 a month income for me.

if you're looking at a body kit what choices do you have in mind? if you're looking at a lip kit, will it accent the whole car, or will it just accent the front bumper? you dont want one part of the car to be accented, then have the rest of the car look plain, ya know? i hope this helps. either way good luck to you! but seriously, put up some pics of the possible kits you have your eye on, and go from there. ultimately it's your decision. we're just here to help you get an idea of our opinions.

Hrrmmm. I don't see why you want the GTS body kit. If I were your i would just go with the Evo X kit, you dont have to get the hood or the fenders just front bumper, side skirts, back bumper. Its only $750 on bodykits.com

There is one bodykit that I found that I am interested in a little and it is this one.

    http://body-kit.com/lan_08xgtr.html

I emailed them for the price so we will see how much it costs.

As far as making front flow with the rest you have a point. But my hope was, I would have my front end look like this except in black

And than get these on the side skirts but in candy red cf.

And as far as rear bumper goes, maybe I would contact the shop in Singapore that made their own lip kit and have them send me one of those to make the back interesting as well? Or maybe just get a CF shield from RRM and find out how to paint it Candy red and have that there for now?

Consider the installation costs as well, as stated earlier, if you really want the body kit. You may want to consider the coilovers, rims and headers

Well I got a reply from Accolade and for the bodykit I am interested in it is $2,450 shipped. This includes front and rear bumpers, side skirts, front fenders, rear fenders, rear door attachments, and the hood.

I am concidering this kit because it looks like a beast but like you guys mentioned, paint/installation will take quite a bit out of my pocket. I guess I will have to go down to a shop near me and first get a rough estimate on how much it would cost before I go in for the motherload order.
