stupid TPS and stupid mitsubishi motors

    ok so i got new wheels that were mounted and balanced with new tire pressure sensors in them from tirerack.com, i expexted my light to come on and all but then i call the dealer and they told me to bring in the car so they culd program the new sensors and it wuld cost $55 and it still would cot that much if the sensors are not right for my car..... so idk what to do i dnt want to spend that much..... help me any advice? :(

    ? take off the tires off your stock oem wheels and take those sensors and put them in your new rim? no need to reprogram too...

    i believe all new cars are equiped with TPS so its not just mitsubishi motors. To much work? have a shop do it for you, i went to Good Year, and they did it no problem. I'm not sure what you mean "wuld cost $55 and it still would cot that much if the sensors are not right for my car". So you're saying your new rim + tire has incompatable tire sensors? if they are wrong just swap them out with your oem stock or buy a new set from your dealer. If you're saying all you need to do is reprogram, then you're going to have to pay that reprograming fee, or just live with the error message. Or lastly stick with your old rims. those are your only options.

    maybe pull the tpms fuse....i dont have them, but everything has a fuse.

    cuz i wanted black rims lol it looks nice now i need to put up some current pics but its been to nasty outside.
