i was looking at a lot of cars that had been lowered by aftermarket springs but in all lancer there still a nasty gap in the front does anybody know how to solve this problem w/o getting coilovers? is it posible by cutting them ?
You really don't want to cut springs because if you cut them wrong then you can really screw up your ride in terms of ride quality (bumpiness) and handling. You could go for the Eibach Sportline springs... they give you a pretty low drop. Even though many of the springs still leave a gap you have to consider that the less gap there is.... the more you run the risk of rubbing your tires especially when taking sharp turns.
springs for these cars are low enough, trust me.if you go too low then you are gonna be blowing struts left and right on a new car.get real coilovers,or get springs.
lol im going to get springs but thats when im getting m exhaust and AEM CAI then im done with the lancer then my 240sx project starts or my hatch then after thats done coilovers
i also wannt to paint the rims gunmetal or black but i dont know the price ranges to pwercoat them dont want to get ripped offf
