Short Ram Intake effect without buying anything!!

alrite here's the deal.
i took the silencer off of my 08' lancer which is attched to the air filter box and it gives me the exact same effect of running a short ram and the same wichked sound.
this will cost you no money.
you can put in a K&N filter to replace your factory paper filter to give you better performance.
i just put a mesh grill in the big opening to keep bugs and other random stuff away from the filter.
im sure the RRM intake sounds sick but this is for ppl who want the same thing for FREE!
car runs perfect and sounds awesome!
try it!

 

took me 5 mins or less....all u need is a screwdriver.

im sure it doesnt suck in s much air as the short ram....which i pesonally find not worth it as its like 12inches big...lol.....i rather do wut i did and then get a cold air when they come out with one....

been driving like that from the day i got my car......runs perfectly fine!!
i havnt had any problems.....not forcing u to do it bud.....
and enough air enters the hood anyways.....lol
there is always exceptions to certain rules....

 

where do u think the short ram air filter sits?.....lol....
there is no tube going to the back where your airfilter would be....
the box is pretty much at the same spot...
so if ur car ran like shit with the piece that i tok off.....it would run like shit witht he short ram too....lol

 

im sure my car is running fine....
smoked an acura tsx over the past weekend....so i def sont think its an issue....atleast for me.....
