Hey guys. Anyone know how to get at the oem shift boot so that i can change for something a little "eye candy-ish" any help would be awesome. I tried to take it apart today but got snagged
Yep, just got in from tryin it, there's two bolt in the storage compartment then it's all loose until you get to the part where it meges into the dash, almost like you have to take the lower dash apart. So i tried but it feels like the climate control knobs are holding it all together, so i'm stuck
take the 2in by 3.5in square thing out behind the shifter. then stick ur hand in there pull back tword the console and pull up. that will reviele 2 phillips head screwes take those out and theres ur boot. if u want the whole middle, after the boot is out 2 more screwes fromt and 2 bolts in console.
