Scosche Double Din/Single Din Dash kit

    Hey guys on Wed. ill be going to scosche to do some R&D for some double din and single din kits. They will be out shortly

    Cool. Convince them to produce a wire harness that will maintain the audio/bluetooth controls on the steering wheel as well. This is a must. If they don't, many will buy the Metra kit that will.

    A single din is your traditional aftermarket sized radio.

    A double din is exactly that, double the standard size. The GTS with navigation has a double din touch screen radio.

    UPDATE!

    Heres a pic of what the Dash Kit for the 2008 Lancer will come out, it says it will be coming out Feb. but since im coming in tomorrow(Wed.) it might come out sooner

    hmm i dont know the price but i will ask tomorrow when i go

    i think it shouldnt be more than 100 bucks or even cheaper who knows

    UPDATE!!! WITH PICS

    Ok so it went really good, the kit should be out in a month or 2

    pricing the R&D team said possibly around 50 bucks

    Forget about the color match, we know its not the right one, they didnt try to match it

    as for the air vents, you replace the stock oem ones in

    yes they will have a single din with a pocket as well

    as for the velcro. NO!

    please read what i posted i feel like everything i post is worthless

    they did not color match because they did not have the color the final production will be color matched and alvin i do not have it installed, they need to do more stuff to it before it comes out

    yea i actually had to show them how to, it was going to be their first time


    im pro at taking out our dash's now, within 5 min will be take apart hahah

    when will the single din be out?

    what about wiring harness?

    yes im still getting rid of my subs

    the single din will be out when the double din comes out, its not had to just split the double din in half to get a single din with a pocket

    the wiring harness is that their doing right now, they didnt have a car to see the plugs and what voltage does what and so on. They got all the information and will make the harness as we speak
